[...] The fact that so many people are suggesting such actions against American Moslems is troubling on a number of levels especially when those doing so claim to be Christians. First is that it is the Church, or member’s thereof adopting a non-Christian worldview and attempting to use the state to enact legislation and laws against minority groups that they oppose, in this case the Moslems. The fact that we live in a secular state, something that many of our Nation’s founding Fathers intended it to be, especially in regard to religion being mandated by the state is a point lost on many of these people. Many Christians have completely embraced the mythology of the United States being a “Christian Nation.” With some even regarding the Constitution as a God inspired document. By it’s fruits you shall know a thing and the Nicene creed contributed to the first of the major splits in the christian church. If it’s Jesus’ church then it’s Jesus’ responsibility to dish out judgment and rewards. If it’s not Jesus’ church then it can only be you-know-who. The great news is that those who are truly the Father’s can’t be lost. This is an amazing thing. Be very blessed!

You’re most welcome Jared. It’s not easy finding a church that has been spared the aftereffects of Nicaea. I’m extremely blessed (and the only non Tigirinya speaking congregant) of one Eritrean Christian church comprising mainly immigrant brethren from that war torn horn of Africa region. Most of my church arrived here (Malta, Europe) by boat from Libya, a bit like the Pilgrim Fathers on the Mayflower.
