Who really killed Goliath?

Was it David – 1 Sam. 17:48, was it Elhanan – 2 Sam. 21:19, or were all of the giants spears like a weaver’s beam – 2 Chron. 20:5

  1. It won’t let me leave a reply for some reason…but – first your reference is off on the son of Jair killing the Lahmi the brother of Goliath (it’s 1 Chron 20:5 not 2nd). Second you are taking the reference out of context – which you know I hate…but David told the Philistine that “This day the LORD will hand you over to me, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head… All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the LORD saves; for the battle is the LORD’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.” David didn’t run from the battle. He stood firm and even met it with aggression (i.e. NOT passive).

And by the way you are missing an ‘e’ on hurricane in the poem.
